YS Falls and Ziplining with Juta Tours - Reviewed 25 June 2017
Crystal was our tour guide and let's start by saying, she was awesome! On the drive there she pointed out local sites and provided both history and a cultural understanding to two people that had never been to Jamaica before. When we arrived, she made sure we all had our lunch orders in before we got on the Jitney to go up to the falls. While we were there she kept us informed while leaving us to ourselves to just enjoy the location. At the end of the visit, she made sure we all made it back for lunch and on the ride home, continued to provide us insight into Jamaica, its people and the local area.
This tour took more than 4 hours and ended up getting back to the resort later than planned. If you take a tour, be sure to not plan for exact arrival times. Traffic, congestion at the falls, and just general island life can create delays. Remember your on vacation, so just roll with it and have fun! Be sure to bring money to pay for lunch. The jerk chicken was amazing! Not to be missed.
A word on Crystal. Towards the end of our tour, some people became upset because we were running late. They were disrespectful and in my opinion rude to her over a situation that was clearly out of her control. She never lost her cool and handled the entire situation with grace and professionalism. I hope we get her for our next excursion, she was the best!
Money well spent - Reviewed 7 February 2018
We have just returned from a two week cruise, which started and ended in Montego Bay, including the middle week before we started our new itinerary.
Having read about the State of Emergency that had been declared, we were a little nervous about touring round, but decided to see what was available in the cruise terminal.
A lovely lady from the Jamaican tourist board, pointed out an inexpensive bus we could hop onto, which would drop us off at the local shopping centre for around $7 per person.
When we got on (there was no hard sell ) our guides Lisa and Richard offered us a round the island tour for $20 pp, which we thought was a no brainer and this took around 2 hours. For those that only went to the beach, this was no problem and collection was agreed when they got off. For us - the whole tour was better value, as you still got to jump off at the beach, but got to see the area as well.
They guys were fab - very informative and they stopped at various places for us to have a photo stop, plus shopping, including an impromptu stop at a fruit stall where Lisa bought some sugar cane and jack fruit, then came round the bus to share it with us.
We were delighted with the trip and I would definitely recommend Juta,
Great Taxi Service - Reviewed 26 January 2018
Our hotel recommended we contact Ivan with Juta for airport transfers. We exchanged several emails and he was very patient and helpful. When we arrived in Jamaica it was easy to find our driver, Jason. We can't say enough about Jason. He was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He was easy to talk with and has a great sense of humor. We were fortunate to get Jason as our return driver. His smile is contagious. If you decide to use Juta, be sure to ask for Jason.

We wanted to see Montego Bay and go to Rockland Bird Sanctuary without being on a tour bus for hours. Carol Clarke was recommended and she was fantastic! Took us to the Bird Sanctuary, (a nature lovers must see).Tthe roads go from pavement nice and wide to narrow dirt path no pavement. The path was just wide enough for her van. She commented that tour buses came up that road and I asked what would happen if we met one. Her response "one of us will have to backup"! She maneuvered curves and bumps like a pro. We didn't meet any buses!! Then through the town of Montego Bay explaining local sights and the living and working conditions of the locals. Carol is knowledgeable, friendly, accommodating, and professional.
If you want to see the sights at your pace and on your schedule, Carol is the answer.
